Charlotte Phelps
Chief Executive Officer
Charlotte Phelps brings more than 35 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Previously CEO of Draupnir Holdings, a Lifesciences company including Altacor, Parapharm, and Transdermal, that has recently merged with Nordic Pharma, Charlotte has accepted the role of CEO of the merged Global company.
Having moved from an early career in Engineering, Charlotte started in the pharmaceutical industry at Bristol Myers Squibb where she held various commercial roles over a period of 11 years. She then joined Ferring UK in 1997 before moving to Ferring Global in Denmark where she held management roles in global marketing. In 2002, Charlotte joined Nordic Pharma as General Manager to set up and lead the UK affiliate as a new entity. She held this position for 14 years before being appointed as CEO to establish the new company Draupnir Holdings – a product development company as well as an international marketing and sales entity. A range of new products were launched in this time and the ophthalmology business of Altacor became a core strength.
Graham Clark
Chief Financial Officer
Graham Clark has 19 years of experience in a wide array of financial, managerial and operational roles, of which 14 in the pharmaceutical industry.
Previously CFO of Draupnir Holdings, a lifesciences company including Altacor, Parapharm, and Transdermal, that has recently merged with Nordic Pharma, Graham was Head of Business Operations since July 2022 before his appointment as CFO of the merged global company. In his current role, Graham also oversees IT and Business Development.
Graham is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a degree in Business from the Buckinghamshire New University.
Gijs Vissers
Head of Supply Chain and Procurement
Gijs has 20 years of experience within supply chain and procurement roles acquired in different industries, such as FMCG, Telecommunications and Pharma.
He joined Nordic Pharma in 2022 to transform the supply chain department and build the procurement department. In his role, Gijs leads these two critical functions which are becoming more and more complex in the global context of very challenging supply conditions worldwide.
Gijs holds a degree in International Hotel Management from The Hague’s Hotel Management School, as well as an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Helene Wilson
Head of Human Resources, Communication and Sustainability
Helene Wilson leads the Human Resources and Communication function at Nordic Pharma. Helene joined Nordic Pharma in June 2020, bringing more than 25 years of international HR experience acquired at a variety of organisations such as Accenture, SITA, Laureate Education and Carlson-Wagonlit Travel. Helene’s expertise spans employee experience, business partnering, talent management, HR transformation and HR analytics. Helene is a dual Swiss/Australian citizen and has lived and worked all around the world.
Helene holds a Human Resources Diploma by Monash University (Melbourne) and a Masters in Applied Languages gained at the University of Paris Sorbonne.
Muriel Boutillier
Head of Scientific Affairs
Muriel Boutillier brings more than 25 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry. She joined Nordic Pharma over 12 years ago and has held various managerial roles such as Regulatory Director and Qualified Person, at both affiliate and corporate level. She was recently appointed Head of Scientific Affairs. In her role, she leads all global scientific departments whilst supporting the scientific assessment of the Business Development opportunities.
Prior to joining Nordic Pharma, Muriel worked as a Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist at both IPSEN and GE Healthcare.
Muriel is a Pharmaceutical Doctor, graduated from the University of Paris Cite.
Dave Faulkner
Head of Commercial Operations
Dave Faulkner brings more than 30 years of experience to the business, having held many senior leadership roles in sales, business development and operations, essentially in Pharma and Healthcare-related industries where he has demonstrable experience of having taken startup businesses through to profitable maturity.
Dave joined Nordic Pharma in September 2022 and has been leading the alliance management project particularly for the US business. He was recently appointed Head of Commercial Operations. In this new role, he leads the regions worldwide, providing commercial strategy and leadership to our operations and playing a key role in growing our business.
Dave holds a law degree from Staffordshire University.
Iain Ward
General Counsel
Iain Ward brings 25 years of international legal expertise both in life sciences and private practice legal firms – such as AstraZeneca, GE Healthcare, Shire, Ashurst and Covington – holding roles of increasing seniority.
He also contributed to the not-for-profit sector within the Institute for Cancer Research and the Welcome Trust.
Most recently, he was Associate General Counsel and Lead Counsel for Corporate Reporting, Business Development, Ex-US commercial activities and sustainability issues at Jazz Pharmaceuticals.
Iain joined Nordic Pharma in December 2024 as General Counsel, a newly created role, overseeing the legal team and providing strategic counsel to support the company’s growth and operations across its numerous locations.
He is a UK qualified solicitor with a Law and European Legal Studies degree from Bristol University.
